PCB ASSEMBLY FILES

PCB ASSEMBLY FILES

Our mission is to provide PCB Fabrication and Assembly Services and ensure the highest quality while keeping low cost. Once PCB design is complete, there are a few files following for PCB and assembly manufacturing are required and need you to generate, and send to us for quick quote or production.

  • Gerber Files
Gerber files are a set of files containing information about each layer of the PCB to be used for production. Besides, don’t forget to include the drill files and PCB outline file in the zip/rar folder. Excepts for Gerber files, we also support Altium PCB files with format *.pcb /.pcbdoc, Eagle *.brd file and ODB++ file.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
BOM is a list of all electronic components will be assembled in the PCB boards. It shows what parts are needed, where these parts should be placed and assembled. We accept BOM in format of .xls, .xlsx or .csv but not .pdf or .doc. Here is a Sample BOM for your reference, click to download.
  • Centroid File
The Centroid file, also known as Pick-and-Place or XY Coordinate file, which contains information about where each component is placed on the PCB board, such as the (X, Y) position, rotation, layer, reference designator and the value/package. This file can be extracted from the PCB design file but cannot from the Gerber files. We prefer centroid file in format .csv.
  • Assembly Drawing
An assembly drawing is helpful when there is not enough space for all reference designators and polarities on PCB board. A document containing the assembly information of your PCB board is most commonly sent as a .PDF file.
  • Other Requirements
  1. PCB Assembly Order Quantity (MOQ=5pcs)
  2. Desired Lead Time
  3. Special instructions must be provided if components need special handling.

These PCB assembly files and requirements will be much helpful for PCB and assembly.
