A 3 Layer Flexible PCB is a patterned arrangement of 3 copper printed circuitry that connected with plated-through holes. If you are a PCB designer, you may know 3-layer stack-up is not common in rigid PCB, but it is common in FPC fabrication. A 3 Layer Flex PCB can be with or without stiffener since stiffener has no effect on flex circuits manufacturing. In the stack-up, the FCCL can be adhesive one or adhesiveless one upon the FPC thickness requirement. Generally, we require 3 kinds material to finish the copper layers, including a double-sided FCCL, adhesive and copper foil. There are 2 copper layers in the FCCL, when plus an adhesive between the copper foil and the double-sided FCCL, we can get the 3 Layer FPC.
