PCB Assembly Technologies
Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Assembly: SMD components are mounted directly onto the surface of the rigid-flex PCB and flexible circuit. We support prototype and high-volume PCB assemby. In the entire assembly process, we need to oversee the solder paste printing quality with SPI, components placement quality with AOI, reflow profile with temperature analysis, reflow soldering speed, X-ray and first article inspection. The strict quality procedures we conduct will ensure the highest quality rigid-flex and flex circuit assembly. SMT technology has largely replaced the traditional assembly method, through-hole, hand placement and soldering. After SMT assembly, we conduct SMT first article inspection to ensure all soldered components are the same as the BOM listed.
Thru-hole Assembly: Components are connected by soldering wire or components outspread legs or pins in the rigid-flex circuit board. The components are some like connectors, terminals and wires. If they are usually inserted and soldered by hand, especially for Flex and Rigid-Flex PCB.
